Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The controller of the data collected through this site is Pier Paolo Taddei, who can be contacted at privacy@mooneka.it.

2. What data we collect

The only personal data we collect directly is the email address you voluntarily enter in the "Join the waitlist" form. The form is also protected by hCaptcha, an anti-spam service that verifies the submission comes from a real person (see point 4).

Current status: the form is active and uses Web3Forms as a relay service: when you submit the form, your email is transmitted via Web3Forms (based in the United States) to one of our email addresses, where it is kept until the app launches. At a later stage we will replace Web3Forms with a Supabase database, and will update this policy accordingly.

3. Why we collect this data

We use your email exclusively to notify you of the Mooneka launch and for communications strictly related to it. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, given by checking the relevant box and submitting the form.

4. Where and how the data is processed

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which as part of normal operation logs standard technical data (e.g. IP address, user agent) for security and service-operation purposes. For aggregate, anonymous traffic statistics (pages visited, country of origin) we use Cloudflare Web Analytics: it does not use cookies, does not identify individual visitors, and does not track activity across different sites. This aggregate collection covers all visitors, including those from the European Union; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, balanced against the non-identifying, non-profiling nature of the processing. The waitlist signup is handled by Web3Forms, a third-party service based in the United States that receives your email and forwards it to one of our addresses — we do not store or directly manage a database of subscribers at this stage. The form is protected by hCaptcha, a third-party service that verifies the submission does not come from a bot and may set a technical cookie for this purpose. Once we move to Supabase, collected emails will be stored directly in our own database.

5. How long we keep the data

We will keep your email until the app launches (or until you request deletion, if earlier), and in any case no longer than necessary to complete launch-related communications.

6. Your rights

At any time you can ask us to access your data, correct it, delete it, or withdraw the consent given — simply write to privacy@mooneka.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) if you believe the processing violates applicable law.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example once the waitlist form becomes fully active. The last-updated date at the top of the page always reflects the most recent version.
